Welcome To Voice of Hope Ministries!

Voice of Hope Ministries is a local church ministry preaching a

message of hope to this generation. Founded in 1987 by Dr. David Harrison, the Voice of Hope Team has literally traveled the country telling the old story and giving this generation hope for the future.

Through revivals, tent meetings, youth crusades, public school meetings, conferences, missions, city wide evangelistic outreach, tapes and the printed page, Voice of Hope strives to reach as many as possible before the Lord returns for His Bride.

We trust you will spend some time with us at our site. We want you to get a sense of who we are and what we are about. We also pray that you will get a burden for our nation to once again experience an Old Time Revival!

If possible, we hope you will join us in a meeting that may be in your area. Above all, we ask you to pray for us, our ministry, and those we share the message of hope with. The days are dark and the time is short, but my friend don't grow weary in the race for "There is Hope.

MEDICAL UPDATE: FEB. 1, 2010

A quick update on Dr. Harrison's condition. After spending two weeks in Wyoming, two trips to the ER, and 4 days in the hospital dealing with the H1N1 virus, he was finally allowed to travel home with his wife and daughter Tuesday, Feb. 26.

The trip was very taxing and revealed that this virus was not even close to being over. On Wed., the day following his return home, Dr. Harrison began having complications again with his breathing along with some other side effects that required him once again to be taken to the hospital. He spent nearly 6 hours in the hospital, going through lots of tests. This virus has really attack his respiratory system. With all that he has endured the past couple weeks, he began having "body spasms" from his chest down and it hindered his breathing. The doctors sent him home with another load of medicine and told him to get plenty of bed rest and drink plenty of fluids. The medicines were very strong and basically "knocked him out". For the last few days, he has been sleeping in the recliner.

He is no where near being well, but has improved. Please pray for him to get totally well so he can return to the pulpit. He is scheduled to see his doctor again on Wed. and hopefully there will be good news.

The tests this week (CT Scan) also revealed a growth on his Thyroid gland and that must be dealt with in the near future.
