"If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, I will forgive their sin, and heal their land."  (II Chron. 7:14)

Dear Supporter:

I am so grateful to be able to write another newsletter to my supporters. God has been so good to me and my family in recent days. As most of you know, back in January, I contracted H1N1 and was in a Wyoming hospital Isolation for 4 days. As a result, I had to take 3 months off the road to recooperate. God has been good to me to spare me and give me the opportunity to return to the revival road and continue doing what He called me to do.

My doctors reminded me several times that by all rights, I should not have survived this illness. His words were "I had patients that were not as sick as you that did not survive." For His mercy extented to me, I am so very grateful. During my illness, many of you kept in touch, sent cards and letters, and helped my family financially and I will never forget your acts of love. You truly proved what Christians brothers and sisters really are all about.

As for the ministry, I started back preaching on a regular schedule Easter Sunday with the folks at Long Hill Baptist in Troy, NC. WE had a very good meeting. Since then I have been in Ohio, South Carolina, several places in North Carolina, Kansas, and Texas. All our meetings have been unbelievably good. We have seen quite a few saved and many other decisions.

I have struggled some with my lungs and the doctors seem to say it may take up to one year for them to completely heal. There is a possibility that I will end up with some asthma like symptoms at the worst. So if that is all, I can live with it. My stamina is getting better each week that I preach. So I am able to be back on a full schedule and I sure am glad.

Most of you know that my oldest daughter Stacey was in a serious car accident a while back. Her two children were with her and they were only slightly injured. Stacey received major injuries including a broken neck, back, ribs, and nose. She is recovering at our home and the doctors give her a good prognosis. It will take about 3-6 months for her to fully recover. We are just glad that she and the girls are safe. We are grateful to God for His protection and grateful to you for your prayers and support during this time.

All the Voice of Hope team is doing well. Nathan, my new driver is doing well. He just finished our long 7 week run and he managed very well. He is getting to preach some on the road with me and he will start raising support as a VOH Representative and my personal assistant this Summer. Jay and Jason and their families are all doing well. They play a very important role, particularly in the youth rallies. Continue praying for Bobby and JoAnn Logue as they travel.

Our youth rallies went well this Spring considering my health issues. We are gearing up for next year and hoping that God will continue to bless these meetings. I also am planning next year to venture back to the mission field. Our tentative plans are to go to the Philippines and to Tanzania, Africa for Evangelistic Crusades as well as Pastor Training and church services. I am very excited about these meetings.

All the family is doing well. WE have another grandbaby on the way in September. Marcey and Brian are expecting child number 2. We are excited about our 5th grandchild. God is filling up the Harrison house.

Thanks for your support and prayers and we truly are thankful that God has allowed us to continue on in our ministry. Hope to see you soon and God Bless you all!

Your Servant, Brother David Harrison & Family
